I thought I'd start out with a post about one of my favourite books: The Official Preppy Handbook by Lisa Birnbach.
I absolutely LOVE this book and I wanted to share it with you all. It's totally tongue-in-cheek but I think if it was done seriously it would be waaaay to toff-overload. The thing is that even though it's done almost sarcastically and it's over 30 years old, there are some very good preppy tips in here. I found that taking notes when you're reading it (for saddos like me) and refer to them afterwards is the best way to do it, and you can keep going back to these notes time after time instead of having to read the entire book again.
